The North Shore’s primary center is Paia, a town that’s a fun blend of art galleries, local restaurants and some of the world’s best windsurfing. Notable among Paia’s establishments is the Paia Fish Market, a must visit for all of Maui’s visitors. The North Shore is also regarded as the starting point for the famed “Road to Hana”.
